If you watched the BETAwards this week, you’ve already celebrated African American Music Appreciation Month declared by President Jimmy Carter in 1979 and later by President Obama.

I had the pleasure of attending several activities, and I was happy to learn that there are quite a few that celebrate in style, too. From Actor Christian Reyes, to the legends of music labels and executives who mold everyone who become famous in the industry.

Another interesting and beneficial red carpet event I had the pleasure to attend was the Private Pre-BETAwards event for “Young Hollywood.”

Below are some image highlights of me and friends on the red carpet at the Geisha House,6633 Hollywood Blvd,Hollywood, CA. “Young Hollywood” benefited Grammy Nominated Artist Akon’s “Konfidence” Foundation. In a nutshell the event honored young celebrities and benefited youth in need. The dress was African inspired Attire.
